Volunteer:

PRCCO is always looking for dedicated volunteers to serve as Receptionists, Client Advocates, Fatherhood Coaches or a variety of other opportunities.  In office volunteers generally serve 4 hours per week and training is provided.

Other opportunities to serve outside normal Center hours or specialty assistance is needed for Church Liasons, Graphic Designers, Computer, Admin and Technical Support.

Internships

PRCCO offers unpaid internships to qualified individuals who are interested in serving at the Pregnancy Resource Center.  Interns will gain valuable work experience and resume building opportunities.

Community Outreach and Marketing Intern

The Community Outreach and Marketing Intern will play an essential role in performing research and developing a marketing plan for the Pregnancy Resource Centers of Central Oregon. Our primary objective is to build sustainable relationships across the education
sector (high school, community college and college) within our communities. The culmination of the intern experience will be the implementation and evaluation of proposed marketing efforts.  This is a 3-month position working approximately 16 flexible hours pre week.  This is a non-paid position.

Abortion Recovery Intern

As an ambassador of Jesus Christ, the Abortion Recovery Intern has the responsibility for the implementation and refinement of the Pregnancy Resource Centers of Central Oregon’s after abortion support program.  This will include curriculum review, training process development, implementation of training, recruitment and management of volunteers, program development, program promotion and conducting classes. The program focuses on supporting women and men who experience abortion related regret by inviting them to receive healing and forgiveness through Jesus Christ. This is a 3-month position working approximately 16 flexible hours pre week.  This is a non-paid position.

Fatherhood Head Coach (Part-Time)

Pregnancy Resource Centers of Central Oregon (PRCCO) is seeking a Fatherhood Program Head Coach (HC) to direct the implementation of quality programs for men in pregnancy situations; provides support directly to these men and trains others to do so. The HC is responsible for ensuring the mission and vision of the Pregnancy Resource Centers of Central Oregon (PRCCO) is realized through effective oversight of the program and service excellence by volunteer coaches. The desired candidate possesses proven leadership capabilities, excellent communication and administrative skills, and a servant’s heart.  Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a helping field, non-profit leadership, social work, counseling, and/or business management.

This is a part-time position (12-16 hours a week). Operations Assistant (Part-Time)

Pregnancy Resource Centers of Central Oregon is looking for an Assistant to the Operations Specialist helping ensure optimal client care is provided by staff and volunteers.  Key functions involve support of center operations in conjunction with client services, to include in-house education and communications, special projects, and community relations.  Responsibilities include ongoing updates of forms, policies and procedures, as well as development and delivery of training, tools and resources, and communications. Also, helping identify service excellence opportunities, process improvements and operational efficiencies leading to standardized practices and a quality client experience across the PRCCO footprint.

The desired candidate possesses proven leadership capabilities, excellent communication and administrative skills, and a servant’s heart.  Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a helping field, non-profit leadership, social work, counseling, and/or business management. Training design and delivery expertise is preferred.
